Can you balance one of these on a pen?

Heather's been looking for them on the Web.

Finding one that fits into a MINI is very tricky.

Finding one that fits into a life shared by a writer and an actor is even trickier.

But we are looking forward to the ride - which is supposed to really start in LESS THAN 60 DAYS!

We had to go with what they call the "travel system", which is a carseat that fits into a stroller. That way, if you're walking with the baby in New York and need to jump into a cab, you have the carseat right there. It's pretty cool. Having a kid has caused me to get excited about a whole bunch of gadgetry that I couldn't have cared less about previously.

You guys are headed toward the finish line already? Time flies. Best wishes to you both!

I highly recommend the Britax Roundabout. We got ours 4 years ago and it has held up well. It's not the cheapest on the market but it has proven its worth. It has been on planes and in and out of numerous cars and still snugly fits our little one. We have a spare cheapy one that now looks like crap. Plus I don't know how many cabs you'll ride in LA. Are there cabs in LA?

When we bought it, it fit into the lives of two unemployed parents.

We found a peg perego - or maybe that was an Italian pasta - but anyway, a seat made by people from a land were small cars rule.

We'll see.

The people at MINI were uncharacteristically unhelpful.
